1970
CS-100

Contact Systems introduces the first vertical, open-frame, semi-automatic wire wrapping machine. Over the years many have tried to improve the elegantly simple design but none has succeeded. The CS-100 has proven to be the most imitated and popular wire wrapping machine on the market.

1983
CS-400A

Contact Systems delivered the first CS-400A Cut and Clinch machine.

1984
SC-400B

Contact Systems launches the ergonomically designed CS-400B Cut and Clinch machine with mechanically adjustable lead length and clinch angle.

1985
CS-302

Contact Systems introduces its first CS-302 series automatic Dip inserter.

1988
CS-400C

Contact Systems introduces the Contact 3, the first low cost machine Surface Mount placement machine that offered 100% vision centering.

1995
CS-3AV

Contact Systems introduces the CS-3S & CS-3AV. Both machines built on the 3 platform with the addition of backlighting and smart feeders. The 3-AV offered a closed loop high-speed DC servo drive positioning system which added extreme accuracy required for Ultra Fine Pitch placements.
